Decisive period of war in Ukraine is coming – Budanov

Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said that the decisive period of the war is coming.

It is known that Budanov met with the head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Epifaniy, on Tuesday, November 8. In particular, they discussed the liberation of our warriors from captivity and the prospects for the complete liberation of Ukraine.

“The decisive period of the war is coming. We need the help of every Ukrainian and God’s blessing. I am confident that Ukraine will gain a complete victory over the enemy and liberate all the occupied lands,“ the statement reads.

In turn, the Metropolitan noted the unity of Ukrainians. He awarded Kirill Budanov with the Order of the Holy Great Martyr Yuri the Victorious.

Recall that Budanov said that Russia seeks to use winter as a weapon against Ukraine in order to strengthen the defensive positions and prevent the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces.

Also, according to him, the operation to liberate Kherson may last until the end of November. Currently, the most capable forces of the Russian army are located in Kherson region, and the mobilized are also being pulled up to them.
